Many women came out in support of Big Bend Habitat for Humanity and Ereka Clayton and family on May 4th for BBHH Women\'s Build in the Tallahassee Highlands neighborhood on Pennlyn Drive. Lowe\'s at Capital Circle NE and NW were sponsors for the Women Build event. Women employees from both stores, as well as associates from Georgia came together to the build site to paint and plant. Volunteers on the Women\'s Build included Habitat Board member, Marti Chumbler of Carlton Fields Attorneys at Law, Dawn Whitehurst of Randolph & Knowles Attorneys at Law, Wallisa Cobb of the Tallahassee Board of Realtors, Juanita Ross, Habitat Volunteer and Grants Coordinator in addition to the skilled Habitat construction staff and other community volunteers.
The event was an exciting and educational way for women of all walks of life to come together and help eliminate poverty housing.
