These donations will be used toward building affordable Habitat Homes for deserving families in safe and decent communities.

 Big Bend Habitat for Humanity is a local non-profit ecumenical Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness in Leon and Gadsden Counties.
ELIGIBILITY is based on each individual family's needs and income.
Homeowners help with the construction of their home by contributing 400 hours of "sweat equity".
After moving into their new house, homeowners make monthly mortgage payments to Habitat. Unlike a regular lender, Habitat charges zero interest.

 DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES BEGINS CONSTRUCTION ON A PLAYHOUSE FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY...
David Weekley Homes, the third largest, privately-held single family builder in America, is building a "Weekley Child's Playhouse" to be raffled and all proceeds will benefit the local Habitat for Humanity in Tallahassee, Florida.
The craftsman style playhouse will be on display at the SouthWood Town Center beginning March 1, 2008. The playhouse will also be on a float in the Springtime Tallahassee Parade on March 29th. The David Weekley Homes Tallahassee Team invites everyone to share in this special effort.
"Habitat for Humanity has been faithfully serving our community for many years by providing affordable shelter for first-time homeowners and we are excited to build the Weekley Child's Playhouse," says David Weekley Homes City Manager, Dee Peppers. "Our Purpose as a company is to Enhance People's Lives, and this opportunity demonstrates how we can help lend a hand to our future generation."
Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5.00 from the Art of Living office in the SouthWood Sales and Information Center. This event will be held at the Habitat Warehouse, directly behind the office @ 2921 Roberts Avenue
New and slightly used windows(vinyl and wood), pre-hung interior and exterior doors, louvered and bi-fold doors, light fixtures, bathroom hardware, 6' sliding patio doors, sinks, toilets, ceiling fans, 1/4 round and Pergo molding, etc.
All proceeds help local residents obtain safe, affordable housing.
